I live in the beautiful and historic Northamptonshire town of Oundle with my husband and son. Having worked as a Personal Assistant (PA) at Director level for many years in the corporate world, for companies such as HP Foods and Nokia UK, I decided it was time to take the plunge and go out on my own and started Elite Office Services (EOS) in May 2018.

I believe there is a market for a flexible and cost effective Virtual Assistant service providing reliable, professional secretarial and administrative support to small and medium sized businesses.

Whilst it may take someone unfamiliar with Microsoft Office hours to put together a policy document or set up a spreadsheet, it takes a PA or VA a fraction of that time. This allows you to reduce your workload and focus on what makes your business thrive and grow. Add to this the flexibility a VA offers, it can be a real boost to your business. 

You only pay for the time you use and I am happy to work remotely or in the client’s premises. I often do a bit of both for my current clients. 

As a PA, I found it really important to build good relationships with my managers and this is equally true when working as a VA. Working for a variety of clients in different sectors and with very different needs requires good communication skills, excellent time management, and resourcefulness. It can be a challenge but I love the diversity and getting to know my clients and understand their particular needs.
